What is tooth bonding?

Dental Veneers, or porcelain veneers, are custom shells that actually cover the tooth and create a new surface that imitates your enamel and improves the color, texture, shape and overall appearance of the tooth. The veneers are bonded to the surface of the tooth, providing a new surface that is as strong as your original enamel.

Tooth bonding is extremely beneficial in cosmetic dentistry. Enamel-like composites, such as porcelain, can be applied to a tooth’s surface, sculpted into shape, hardened and polished, correcting imperfections from staining to chips.
